Inspiring biblical passage of the moment: “Whereas you have been forsaken and hated, with no one passing through, I will make you majestic forever, a joy from age to age.” Isaiah 60:15 ESV
Spiritual growth focus at the moment: I think the area I am focusing on right now is just learning that I don’t need to make space for Him and figure out the perfect time to study and read the Bible, worship, meditate, etc. He owns the room on my life. I want to learn to truly give Him His room.
“He owns the room on my life.”
What does Evermore mean?
I really don’t know about you, guys, but I’ve never thought about this question before. Why should I? I mean, Evermore is a simple word that everyone of us might have ever heard, a word that everyone might think of as a synonymous for “forever“ It means this: for all the time in the future.
It feels like you’re fainting or having a stroke. You feel your anxiety rising inside of you. It seems like everything you can think of is fear. Everything you notice is your tunnel-type vision. All of a sudden you stop breathing. A immensely intense heat seems to be setting your body on fire – it’s so hot, you’ve never felt such a heat before, it’s feels like the room you’re in has claustrophobic proportions. “Am I just loosing my mind?”
We all know this quote “comparison is the thief of joy”.
I feel like this quote might even be one of the of the quotes I read the most this year. Well, who didnt? but although i read this quote everyday, and even though i even know it by heart i still find myself comparing to other peoples instagram lifes – yes, there instagram lifes and not their real lifes.
lately the holy spirit′s been speaking to me about this topic.. i realized, that the reason why we still find ourselves comparing to somebody else is because we don′t have a foundation in our lifes. well, actually we have a foundation – ourselves.
